NOTE: THIS DRILL IS NOT INTENDED TO HELP YOU MEMORIZE ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS YOU WILL GET ON YOUR TEST.
This drill helps you develop and hone your skill at finding things in NFPA 70E and handling the information when you find it. A major league batter will only have 3 or 4 at bats in a game however he spends hours a day each week taking 1000s of swings at batting practice. He will not get the same pitches at the same velocity or type during the game that he gets in practice, but he does it anyways. Why? Because his is refining and honing his batting skill which allows him to handle the real pitches in the game.
This drill is the same thing. Do it, do it frequently and over and over and you will find that you skill at finding things in NFPA 70E will get better and better and you will be able to handle the questions on the test.
This drill is not timed. Be sure to look up answers in your 2021 NFPA 70E so you practice finding answers quickly. When you are finished you will see all yor answers and the correct answers and code references. I recommend looking up the code references so that you improve your familiarization with the code book and where things are located. You can close the drill when you are done and return to the practice page and restart the drill as many times as want to. Each time you do the drill, the questions will be refreshed, randomized and a new set of questions pulled from the database.
After you select your answer to each question and click submit, the correct answers will show for you in color code as green and incorrect as red. There will be a slight pause and the code reference will show on the screen. You can then select next to go to the next question. Each question number will show at the bottom of screen as either Clear [ Not answered] Green [Answered Correctly] or Red [Answered incorrectly] You will also receive a full report at the end of the drill of each question and yor answers and the code references.
You will need to close the current drill and go back to elightinformation.com and click the button to start a new drill.
